SANA media in Syria says air defense confronted aerial threats near Jebleh (جبلة) on June 23, just after midnight.

Subsequent articles say the air defense “prevented” a drone attack. Numerous websites reported the battle against drones near Jableh. RT says the same thing. Lebanese media added the following: “

For its part, :the Lebanese Army Command issued two statements confirming that two reconnaissance planes or drones (لطائرات مسيرة) belonging to Israel violated Lebanese airspace in two areas in the south.” A Lebanese army statement said, “An Israeli reconnaissance plane has Lebanese airspace over the town of Kafr Kala, and carried out circular flights over southern areas, and then left the airspace, over the town of Yaroun….A second reconnaissance plane violated Lebanese airspace over the town of Alma al-Shaab, and carried out circular flights over the southern regions, and then left the airspace over the town of Naqurah.

Tasnim news in Iran says ‘meanwhile, local Syrian sources reported that three explosions were heard following the Syrian army’s defense of the city of Banias.”

More details emerged on June 23 saying the UAV attack was not that large, but was aimed at Khmeimim.
