The US carried out a drone strike in Somalia in late August, an August 27 report says. 6 Al-Shabab members were killed in the strike. Tensions on India border with Pakistan included claims that the Pakistanis had interdicted a quadcopter.
Hezbollah claims to down Israeli drone
As tensions continue between Israel and Hezbollah the Lebanese group claimed to have downed an Israeli drone in late August. There was also video of the downing. Hezbollah has said it reserves the right to attack Israel after a July 20 incident in which one of its members was killed in Syria.
