“It’s a rapidly expanding type of weapon,” says Seth Frantzman, an Israeli-based journalist and the author of the forthcoming book Drone Wars. “While just a handful of countries admit to having them, many others want to get them. It’s a logical evolution of a military platform because it’s basically a missile that can hover around.”
